Hipath 5000

The HiPath 5000 real-time IP comprises a central IP networking server and offers companies with between 10 and 1000 subscribers at up to 32 locations reliable and easy-to-use voice communication using high-quality terminal devices. The software is supplied on CD and can be installed on any standard Windows 2000/2003 Server. It offers such functions as the simple interconnection of branch centres and teleworkers and the incorporation of applications that can be used throughout the network. All this while preserving a high comfort of voice communication and the reliability of traditional telephony.

Future-proof and cost-efficient

As a uniformly IP-based solution, the Hipath 5000 is a cost-optimised system, which utilises all the benefits and the flexibility of IP technology. When the IP network is integrated into the telecommunications system, it is also used for voice communication. The use of a single network not only results in simpler system management, but operating costs are also considerably reduced. Hipath 5000 is a scalable communications platform whose great variety of solutions means that it can be adapted to the individual requirements of most companies. Flexible work structures (such as desk sharing, project groups, hoteling, etc.) are fully supported.

The HiPath 3000 would then be the appropriate system for providing the gateway to the operator network. This gives rise to a system which is secure to a high degree against technical failure; it even guarantees the continuation of communication in the event that the company IP network is interrupted. Investments already made in HiPath 3000 Real Time IP systems are protected, since they can remain in use as gateways in the HiPath 5000 environment.
