Munich, September 6, 2019 – BVG Communication Technologies GmbH has now been represented by a branch office in Cologne for 20 years. It was founded in 1999. At that time, growing customer relationships in the western region required the opening of a new office in Cologne.
The first employee to move into the Cologne office was Michael Hofer, Team Leader Production Technology. He remembers: “I was really looking forward to the first day in the new rooms. The family atmosphere, which the Munich headquarters also conveyed from a distance, supported my induction. New colleagues soon joined me in Cologne. Over the years, we have continuously expanded and improved our range of services and product portfolio with permanent innovations. I am very proud to be a team member at BVG”.
Growth requires expansion
In the meantime, around 30 colleagues are working in the Cologne offices of BVG. The experts mainly work in the areas of sales, technology, service and project management. Due to further growth in the coming years, a relocation of the office to Cologne Airport is planned for 2020. Then larger premises will be available for more employees. “Our branch in Cologne is a single success story,” says Günter Dallmayr, Managing Director of BVG. “For more than 20 years, it has stood for innovative and economical communication solutions, as has the entire company. The team develops tailor-made and practical solutions for our customers according to their individual requirements. To enable our experts for real-time communication to offer even better strategic advice including service, we are expanding our capacities with the planned move to a new building. This will enable us to serve our customers in the western region even more efficiently”.
